Waste Wood Briquettes
View Briquettes Portfolio
Our briquettes are made from wood shavings and shredded timber off cuts produced as a waste product in our workshop.
The shavings and chippings are then highly compressed into briquettes, held together by naturally occurring resins released in the compressing process.
Wood waste briquettes are clean and easy to handle. They produce proper flames, a great deal of heat and a pleasant wood burning smell as they are burnt.
They have a very low moisture content (approximately 10% compared to 25 - 40% in logs), this give them a high heat output for their size and a low ash residue.
Briquettes can be used in all wood burning and solid fuel appliances, and on open fires. In the summer months they are also ideal for fire pits and Chimnea's.
Sold in 100% recyclable polythene bags, with each bag containing a minimum of 12.5kg, they can be purchased in bulk direct from F Cuff & Sons, or singly from the following outlets.
